Day 273, 3 April 2013, Whistler, B.C. Guess what... just for a change we went skiing! Who'd a thunk it. The visibility was much improved today - aside from a layer of cloud surrounding the Roundhouse lodge and dropping down 100 m or so. Once we navigated that, the mountain was free and clear. Day 272, 2 April 2013, Whistler, B.C. Pour Moi? It was a lazybones type of day. There was a fair (as it turns out excellent...) chance that the mountain was completely fogged in. So after lots of umming and ahhing and thinking and deciding, I made the firm decision to take off ski clothes and put PJs back on. Quite sensible as it turns out. Had a lovely day snoozing, cooking lunch, reading and awaiting the return of James the Intrepid skier - no conditions ...

Day 271, 1 April 2013, Whistler, B.C. Ah Hah! Saw a couple of signs at the ski lifts today promising a foot of new snow (as if...) and that the lifts were closing at lunch time. Is that the best you can do? Happy April Fools' Day to one and all. We were up ridiculously bright and early today. So bright in fact it was still dark. Purpose of setting an alarm you might enquire? Day 270, 31 March 2013, Whistler, B.C. Rest Day. And not one little bit boring. Blazing sunshine the last couple of days and 17 degrees / 64 F degrees in the village has seen an awful lot of layers shed. In fact locals are roaming around in shorts, t-shirts (men) and mini-skirts and low-cut tops (ladies). Strongly suspect it's going to look like a nudist colony by the time summer proper arrives. Day 269, 30 March 2013, Whistler, B.C. Rest Day. It was Baby O'Clock at 2.30 am today. Grocery Day. Went for a Walk Day (condos pictured from our golf course next door). Visited the Post Office Day (no joy - returned our mail to sender....). AND spent the afternoon watching Flash Mob videos on Youtube. What, pray tell, is a Flash Mob? It's when a bunch of people get together in a public place and do something amazing, to the utter amazement of innocent bysta...
