Alreet???

We got to Chiang Mai after a Mamoth journey up the length of Thailand, It feels like we left Ko Phangan about a week ago.

We got here about half eight on Saturday Night, with very little sleep on both Trains, we were a little Krabi. On the Train we met a lass from the Toon Like, who pointed us in the direction of a Hostel she had stayed, she had also stayed in the one we were gonna go too and said it was mankey. So we headed there with our new found friend off the train Krysia, From Hertfodshire and Tom a kiwi. We got to the hostel and it was spot on like, as well a clean and cheap. So we all went for some food, Tom in Bare feet, and he nearly got run over. The wenty straight to bed prity much we were Done in.

The next day we went for a bit of a walk around Chiang Mai, after a bit of a lie in it must be said. We went to try and find some stuff to do for the next few days. We decided to book a Days White Water Rafting and a Days Trekking. Then ahd a wander round some of the Markets all over Chiang Mai. We had to be up pritty early so we went to bed, not before a few beers like, but we did go quite early.

We got picked up around ten the next day, We were in a mini bus with two lasses from Denmark, Michelle and........................i couldnt prnounce it so am not gonna try and spell it like. After a few hours in the mini bus we got to the camp, had some food, KFC we suspected, then went through a video of how not to White Water Raft, alot of flipping involved. Then after a bit of safety stuff we headed off. We had a Captain at the back of the boat, who all the thai guys were calling the capsize King, which was reasuring. We hit a few rapids which were alot of fun, if not a tame as we got told they would be, and on the quiet parts we played around in the water tipping the boat and puishing each other off. Was a carcking couple of hours down the river like. When got back to the Hostel we had some food and went to bed, we were Knackered.

The Next day we went Trekking, not really Costa Rica Style trekking, Trekking for wimps. We had nine people in our group, Three Ozzy guys, a Man and his 13 year old son and a Guy called Josh. A Dutch couple and a Columbian couple, oph and me and Rik. We all got along great all day, taking the piss out of each other and having a good laugh, which helped make the day even better. We started with an Elephant ride for an hour, which was weird, me Rik and Josh where on the only one with Tusks and the biggest of the group, fun. We walked round for a hour, the elephant stuffing itd face with trees the whole way. When we got back to the Camp we fed the Elephants Bannanas, they put there trunk into your hand until the found food, and then followed you with it untill you give them more, Greedy. We then went for Lunch before an hour walk to a waterfall, the walk was hard but it was alot of fun with the reat of the guys, and when we got to the waterfall we all dived in. We then went Rafting AGAIN. Noone told us we did it on the trekk, but we knew all the Commands so we just mesed around racing the Other boat, Australia and Holland VS England and Columbia, and we won Just. We had a great laugh down river, some of it at my expence when they left me miles behind trying to control a raft myself. After that we headed back.

Thats you pritty much up to date, We head for the Laos border Tommorrow, it weird to be Leaving Thailand, before we get a two day boat Journey to Luang Prabang. Photos are proving hard to upload for both of us, but we will get them up soon.
