Alreet???
Back in Thailand, and very glad to be back
We arrived back in Thailand after a very bumpy mini bus ride from Siem Reap to the border and we were told a bus would be waiting for us across the border. When we finally got across the border we then had to wait 4 hours four hours for the bus to Bangkok. This was annoying aswe could have sorted it out our selfs and got there quicker, lied to again. We did alright though, just ended up playing cards with a Scottish couple who were at the end of a 9 month trip.
We FINALLY got to Bangkok around 8 at night, and after finding a place we decided to hit the Kho San Road, and there was only one place we were heading. The McDonalds was amazing, especially after being in three countrys without one. After that we wandered around and had a few drinks for our last night in Bangkok.
The next day, after some shopping on the road, we got our bus heading for Phuket. When we first got on it was good as they put some films on for us to watch, until a young french lass decided to start whaling right in front of us, great. We still got too see 'Sex in the City' Get in there. After a stop, where Gaz got off to head for Kho Tao, we both fell asleep and slept all the way to Surat Thani. After Changing buses we were finally on our way to Phuket. We got to Karon beach in Phuket at around 12 and pritty much slept all day. We went out that night for a few bev's and watched the Olympic opening Ceremony, which was fun.
The next day we had a full beach day planned, and it was a canny day for it too, bloody red hot. So we pritty much just sat there cooking all day. The waves were well strong too, so every so often we jumped in to cool off. After we had mildly sizzled we headed back for a shower and some food. After a cracking Mexican we found a canny little balcony to sit and get drunk, and so we did, champion.
Anyhoo the next day we were off to Ko Phi Phi, so we are well lookinbg forward to that.
Sooo Night Night Campers, See you in Ko Phi Phi xx
P.S. Forgetting Sarah Marshall is an amazing film, never thought id like it.
