Last night we stayed in a hotel which had a bed which could have easily held about 4 people...and we were given 5 pillows, bit excessive but I was not going to complain!
This morning it was an early start, we had to be at the nearby Hilton Hotel by 7.30 to meet our trek America guide. After a few minor delays we got to the Hilton and met our group for our southern sun trek who all seem lovely! Today has just consisted of travelling, food shopping and tent erecting....(clearly I am incredibly immature as I just laughed whilst writing that word)! This evening we will be sleeping in American summer camp style tents. As I'm writing this some of my fellow campers are cooking dinner, then later we will be heading into Washington, D.C. to see how it looks at night :)
