Barden's Great Aussie Adventure 2015
After enduring a huge temperature change going from an over 30 degree day to about 17 degrees, we stopped at Alligator Gorge in quite miserable weather. We did the 2km walk going to "The Terraces" and "Narrow Gorge". It was a really damp environment which we haven't seen for a long time. We saw a fair bit of wildlife most of it being of the tiny variety like tadpoles and caterpillars. It was a nice walk despite the drizzling rain and at least it provided a comfortable hiking temperature.
We drove through many small towns heading south but Clare was the only one that grabbed my attention and looked like a nice place to spend some time.
Arriving in the Barossa Valley, it was really nice to have no flies here for the first time since entering South Australia! It is a top campground we are at, which is at the local cricket grounds and has a good playground for the kids.
