A bit of a boring day today with not much happening. My cousin Nathan and his son Dylan came over for a visit which it was good to see them as it doesn't happen very often.

Dad brought out his "popcake" machine and we all filled up on pancakes for breakfast. I had a day to go shopping by myself which always makes things easier especially when the shops are so busy. That night I a had a visit from my good friend Bec and we had a good time catching up

We had a busy day starting with picking up Matt's work ute and then heading to Phil and Hannah's new house. It was good to see them all and Zach and Liam got along well with Samuel and Rebekah. We took the scenic drive from Canberra to Emu Plains by going through Bargo, Picton, The Oaks and then Wallacia. It was a much nicer drive than the motorways which we have done before and it didn't take that much longer either. It was a really hot day so the boys had a splash in the pool once we arrived at Dad's and then it was an easy afternoon from there.

We left camp feeling quite exhausted after our busy days in Canberra and the time went really fast as we were so busy. We drove north to Taralga where we left the camper behind the pub. They allow free camping at the back of the pub in exchange for some patronage. We drove another 30km to Wombeyan Caves and were glad we didn't drag the camper through the narrow, windy dirt road.
