Ok well been a while since i updated. Mission beach was fun as there was absolutely nothing to do there except lay by the pool and go to the bar in the evenings. Alot of people skydive there but im saving that activity for NZ. Anyway the people there were really cool and we spent the evenings listening to the guys playing guitar and drinking in the bar. The beach was lovely but way too hot and you're not even allowed to go swimming as its the time of year for the stingers which are thumb sized invisible jelly fish with long tentacles and can cause fatalities. So the pool was good enough for me. Me and vicky did have one very drunken night on our last night there. We met another brit girl called jodie (who is actually stayin in my hostel over new year) and started on the jaegar bombs again!! In the end we ended up going to another resort by mini van after the bar had closed to carry on drinkin with the people we had met there. So we spent the rest of the night swimming in their luxurious swimming pool drinkin wine and beer. Somebody should really have warned me not to put my beer under water as i ended up drinkin a good couple of mouthfulls of beer/pool water - yummy!! About 4am we decided to go back to our hostel as vic was leaving the next day at 8am so walked back thru the school i think and when we got back james and some others were still up so instead of me being sensible and going to sleep i carried on swimming til 4.30! And then the next day arrived - i had tio check out by 9am so it was an early start for me and oh man did i feel ill! I was so so so hungover and had a 4hr bus journey ahead of me (which i was nearly sick on!!). So that was pretty much mission beach - had fun there tanning myself and we actually cooked dinner for ourselves - yay us!! loves me xx
