Now surfers paradise is alot like benidorm i guess. There are loads of high rise vacation blocks and lots of activities for vacationers. So the first night we got there i was very very very hungover so i didnt actually do alot but sleep in the dorm! In the evening we checked out the town area and ended up eating in pizza hut - very nice and not thats not exactly in my budget! Had a look around the marker which reminded me of the one in canet plage, france. The next day we layed on the beach but i t was rather windy so ended up with sand everywhere! We had a bit of a shock when we saw an old man with a massive beer belly walking along the sand with a tiny pair of yellow ladies bikini bottom on with the ties done up in bows - wish i couldve taken a photo but by the time i got over the shock and located my camera he had disappeared from view! In the eveningwe met up with christie and went over to rachel's familys holiday appartment (her aussie side of her family)! The view from it were amazing and it was so nice sitting on a couch in a proper lounge. So had a few drinks there then walked the 25min walk home. So that was pretty much surfers - not many good looking surfers though - i was kinda disappointed on that front but didnt really spend that long there as had to get to byron for chrimbo!!
