Well the whitsundays was supposed to be our highlight of the trip and to be fair it was v dissapointing as the boat was s***e. Not gonna go into it too much but we were told that our boat was the party boat and we would have loads of fun but we didnt even get to go to the lookout point over whitehaven beach - the must of the whitsundays apparently the boat as it was a tall ship could not access the beach due to weather condition even though other boats were closer that us even tall ships. Other things annoyed us as well so ive just written a complaint email - yay me!! Anyway luckily the group of people we met were great - had loads of fun wih them messing around - we did play a few drinkin games but they closed the bar by 10.30 and turned the lights off so that was a bit tricky. We all slept up on deck as the cabins were like a flaming inferno so it was lovely to sleep under a blanket of stars. We did some snorkellin and saw a couple of lobsters, cod fish etc but not alot really. The weather was lovely so spent alot of time laying on the deck and chatting to the other passengers. On the whole the trip was fun nut its a shame we didnt get to go to that beach. We wrote some negative comments on the comment sheets before we realised that they had arranged to meet in the bar later - funnily enough only the cook showed up as he was the only one we praised - he was welsh after all! So we had a few drinks there and im starting to get a cold so i came back q early to catch up on some much needed sleep!! me xx
