Well cape trib was an awesome trip! We got the bus q early and the first stop was port douglas which seemed a lot more up market than cairns but ddint have long there so just sat by the beach as couldnt swim cos of the stingers (box jelly fish). Then stopped at Daintree National Park and had a 3km wlak thru the forest but our guide was s*** and stormed thru the forest not waiting for us to enjoy the scenery so we just slowed down and took it at our own pace as not to miss out on anything! After the walk we stopped at mossmon gorge for a quick swim but i didnt get in as forgot my bathers! Before heading to PK jungle lodge we went on a boat down the daintree river to look for crocs - we saw one and one tree snake and a tree frog! We got to the accommodation and it was brill - so relaxing in the midst of trees with a swimming pool too. Unfortunatly we were so used to cairns way of life that forgot that food orders stop at 8 so we ended up havin a sandwich! yum!! Next day i went kayaking in an individual kayak as nicole (canadian) thought we should go for the single ones instead of the doubles - actually i think the single one was a lot easier to manoeuvre. Once we kayaked round the headland we climbed some rocks to the most amazing view and ate papaya. Then we kayaked back - we were supposed to see some turtle but i didnt see any but not too botehred as saws ome diving. That nite we decided to have a campfire on the beach with some cheap plonk. Really great evening as loads of other people just walkin along the ebach at nite joined us. Both paul (brit) and chritie (canadian) fell asleep so we buried them in the sand in the shape of mermaids - im sure paul loved his new seaweed hair!! Also took loads of funny photos but cant download them on this compas the company wont let you - knobheads they are! Next day i spent the day by the pool and pretty much did jack s*** - what a life i lead!! Then got back to cairns last night and watched The 40yr Old Virgin before having the most amazing nights sleep ever! adios from cairns xxx So tomo im finally leaving cairns
