So i left rotorua in the direction of auckland. It was like a full day trip so arrived in auckland lateish. However, on the bus we stopped at mt manganoui. We had the option to climb this beast of a hill but only had like 1hr15 in which to do so. So anyway i was told it took like 1hr+ to get up and back but i really wanted to do it so there is me panting and puffing as i mr motivator it up this bleeding hill to the top!! It was rather steep actaully it was v steep but finally i got to the top - v sweaty nonetheless. The view, however, was amazing and it was totally worth the climb up which only took 30mins!! So after some photos and a much needed break i headed back down in about 20mins so had enough time at the bottom for a well deserved frozen yogurt! I finally got to Auckland at 6.30ish having to be out again at 8pm to meet cassie for some drinks. So we headed out in auckland to a few bars, tried manuka flavoured vodka which was discusting so dont do it!! Danced a bit at some random club then finished of the night back in the irish bar with a live band who were really talented. So got taxi back at 2ish but had to be up again at 6am to get bus to bay of islands!!! Thats all from auckland for now - back there again in a few days. me xx
