We arrived at Shannon Airport at 7:40 AM Ireland time (5 hours ahead of Tampa time). The 767 we flew on had a tracking screen when the movie wasn't playing, so it was neat to see where the plane was and how much longer we had until we landed. We rented a total of 4 cars for all 16 of us to drive around in (on the left side of the road). We drove from Shannon Airport to Beauford House (where we are staying just outside of Killarney), and we stopped off at Adare for lunch along the way. When we arrived at the cottages, I took a nice hot shower to get rid of the travel dust. After that, we did some grocery shopping. There is a pub within walking distance of the cottages, and that was were we had dinner. It was very good and the Guinness was awesome! I was finally able to get ahold of people back in the states to tell them I was in Ireland! I was able to stay awake until 9pm before all the traveling caught up with me.
