So, wanted to get up at 10 to got for a bike explore with some people I met last night, but... I'm lazy and terrible at waking up to an alarm if I don't need to!! So I actually got up at 12 :-( it was all good though as sophie was up for renting some bikes and exploring.
Spent a while getting ready then met Corinne downstairs (girl I'd met the night before), she wanted to go to lamai to meet some of her friends.
So we got 2 bikes sophie driving one :-D and me with Corinne on the back. Met her friends 30mins ride away. They were in an amazing hostel on a beach, but it was miles from any action!!
We had some food (masaman curry for me, yum) then headed to lamai beach. Me, Reece, Corinne and alex spent ages in the sea chatting and stuff while soph and Craig worked on their tans on the beach.
Then we played a bit of s***head (card game) and I practiced a bit more with my poi (again!!!). Eventually headed for some food, ate in the same place as I had with my family several years ago, nice to remember that while I was there.
Rode back to chaweng the got a bus/taxi thing back to lamai, and we headed to 'rock bar' really cool reggae bar literally built into a rock, and had a drink (not too much as I was riding). Got bored around 10:15 and headed back (with Corinne on the back) almost rained on us (spat) but didn't :-). Dropped off Corinne and was planning o have a quiet night reading my book, but was downstairs in the hostel chatting with soph when ruben (German guy from night before) came in, and convinced me to go it (admittedly didn't take too much convincing).
So me and him got some beers then went to the beach and headed for the lights. Got to 'Arc Bar' which I had heard was good and it was pretty cool, actually playing some fun music (as opposed to the s***ty bar the night before). Chilled for a bit then got bored an looked for somewhere else, but nowhere as good, so ended up back at arc bar.
I loved it, raving in the sand, no shoes and pumping music, had a great time skanking out :-). Ruben headed home eventually, but I was enjoying the music too much so stayed out. Stayed till it shut at 2, such an amazing rave in the sand, never done that before and loved it. J.
Once it closed I walked home, then ha a chill ok. The beach by myself for a bit, so peaceful and beautiful, loved it :-) got to bed at 3:30ish
