Our friends lost there luggage in Dar from Dubai but fortunatley they got it the next day so we went to Zanzibar a day late!! Was a pretty rocky ride over to the Island but was so worth it!! Landed in Stone Town and then went straight up to the north coast!! We stayed at a place called Kendwa Beach which is probarly the best beach i have ever seen in my life!! Finally we got to somewhere which was'nt raining, after Malawi in the middle of the rainy season right now!! We arrived in Dar on the train which originated in Zambia to nice and hot weather!! Nick has been here before so we stayed in the YWCA which is just round the corner from the YMCA where he stayed before!! the rooms are cheap only £2 per night so it was fine as we were pretty much here for 2 weeks while we wait for our friends (Rob & Claire) to arrive...

We travelled over from Mzuzu to Mbeya in Tanzania with a pretty smooth border crossing avoiding all the dody money and back into swahili speaking country which was a bit better for me (Nick) as ocassionaly i had some idea of what they were talking about lol!!
