Finally we got to somewhere which was'nt raining, after Malawi in the middle of the rainy season right now!! We arrived in Dar on the train which originated in Zambia to nice and hot weather!! Nick has been here before so we stayed in the YWCA which is just round the corner from the YMCA where he stayed before!! the rooms are cheap only £2 per night so it was fine as we were pretty much here for 2 weeks while we wait for our friends (Rob & Claire) to arrive from England!! We arrived here with travelling friends and they have all come and gone to Zanizibar which we are doing on sunday!! We have been hanging out in the city which is a maze of random (get lost) streets, we are still not 100% sure we are half the time!! We have been hitting the beach just to the south of the city most of the time to make the most of the good weather here now!! The ferry we have to take to get there is pretty crazy as its every man for himself pushing and shoving to get on and off every day, check the pictures for that!! The beach is really nice with really hot sea water and hammocks!! We are also taking the Dola Dollas here (minvans) which are ridiculously packed all the time and find half the time we are just hanging out the door to get where ever it is we are going, which (nick) i think is great fun, bring it on everywhere, nat not so much lol! As for robbery, we just witnessed a mob kicking the hell out of a (mwizee) theif right in the bus stop, not to nice to watch when its 20 on 1!! Met up with a friend i met online who sorted us out with some (bongo flava) music which is tanzanian music, and are just waiting for our friends to show up tommorrow, there gonna get a shock coming from UK to this heat lol! and then off to Zanzibar!!!
