Our friends lost there luggage in Dar from Dubai but fortunatley they got it the next day so we went to Zanzibar a day late!! Was a pretty rocky ride over to the Island but was so worth it!! Landed in Stone Town and then went straight up to the north coast!! We stayed at a place called Kendwa Beach which is probarly the best beach i have ever seen in my life!! Claire & Rob needless to say were very very impressed!! We had a banda on the beach and they booked out a chalet!! We stayed there for 3 nights, on the 2nd day we took a snorkel trip out to an island on the reef!! There were so many fish out there and the coral was pretty good!! We also saw one of the locals spear fishing under the water and he was catching some big big fish!! Needless to say Claire and Rob got quite badly sunburnt on that day!! Still recovering now!! The beach and everything about the area is totally stunning absolute paradise!! Pictures coming soon!! We went back to Stone Town and had a trek round the city to find an ATM that actually worked once we did (Nick) managed to blag his way into the old slave market which is now a church to find one of his distant relative plaques which was very impressive!! Then we took a walk around the seriously narrow streets and claire and rob got sunburnt somemore and headed back to the main land!! Love ZNZ its absolute paradise!!!!
