We travelled by bus from Nairobi to Kakuma, which was the craziest bus trip i think i have ever done!! The first leg was from Nairobi to Kitale in Western Kenya!! This was fine as there was a road!! However the second bus trip took about 14hrs on dirt which was hell!! It was so so hot up there and the people that were getting on the bus mostly were people from the Turkana tribe!! They dont really wear clothes just robes and they all carry guns!! Which was fun whe...

We all took the overnight bus from Mombasa to Nairobi!! Once we arrived in Nairobi we went to check out the elephant orphanage at the Sheldrick centre which also had a baby rhino there which was pretty cool!! We made a visit to the giraffe sanctuary where you can literally kiss giraffes which is an interesting experience, and to finish the day off went and had a full blown meal in Carnivore, the restaurant in Nairobi you can eat game meat!! Its such a cool place!...

We travelled up from Zanzibar back to Dar es Salaam in Tazania Over the border into Kenya where is was still really humid and hot every day!! Our friends lost there luggage in Dar from Dubai but fortunatley they got it the next day so we went to Zanzibar a day late!! Was a pretty rocky ride over to the Island but was so worth it!! Landed in Stone Town and then went straight up to the north coast!! We stayed at a place called Kendwa Beach which is probarly the best beach i have ever seen in my life!! Finally we got to somewhere which was'nt raining, after Malawi in the middle of the rainy season right now!! We arrived in Dar on the train which originated in Zambia to nice and hot weather!! Nick has been here before so we stayed in the YWCA which is just round the corner from the YMCA where he stayed before!! the rooms are cheap only £2 per night so it was fine as we were pretty much here for 2 weeks while we wait for our friends (Rob & Claire) to arrive...
