We all took the overnight bus from Mombasa to Nairobi!! Once we arrived in Nairobi we went to check out the elephant orphanage at the Sheldrick centre which also had a baby rhino there which was pretty cool!! We made a visit to the giraffe sanctuary where you can literally kiss giraffes which is an interesting experience, and to finish the day off went and had a full blown meal in Carnivore, the restaurant in Nairobi you can eat game meat!! Its such a cool place!!! The next day Rob and Claire flew out of kenya over to Dubai so we all went to the airport to see those guys off!!! We picked up a volunteer for John and travelled to Nyeri, in kenyas central province to drop her off at a child orphange where she was going to be working and we all had an afternoon playing with the kids!! We later travelled to the Equator to see what was happening there and to get pictures with the equator sign!!! And the magnetic field water rotation myth!!

Nat ended her trip in Nairobi and flew back to the UK after travelling for 11 months, whereas i satyed on to sort out the volunteer business we are starting up with my kenyan friends!1 Since Nat left we have been visiting various projects to see what they do and take photos and ask if we can supply them with volunteers. we have also been creating a website for the company!! It has been great going to areas of Nairobi which you could never dare go unless you know or have business there!!

All the other goings on in the city are usual and no doubt some of it may have even made news in the UK!! Few riots, few killings, lots of corruption and scandels, that kind of thing!!

One of the project interests was in a place called Kakuma in Turkana region in the north of Kenya which we travelled to, on the next blog!!!
