This morning for the first time this trip we awoke to rain. We had planned to do garage sales today but with Anne staying over for the night and it being a really warm day we decided to go as a family to Deep Cove for a hike. We took three cars, as Anne would be going straight home after and we had Kodi with us as well. I went with Lyndon and led the way. Today we arrived at Grouse Mountain for 9:30, an hour before our time for the zip lines. We picked up tickets and caught the sky ride gondola to the top. We hadn't got to be at the centre until 10:20 so we looked around the area and the wires. Molly,Lynn,Matt and I signed the forms then got given our harnesses,helmets and trolleys. Today we were leaving Abbotsford to return to Vancouver but on the way back we stopped at The Great Escape, a kids play centre in Langley. Tracy, Bill, Edna and I sat down to get drinks while Molly went off to play. Hells Gate was our destination today. After leaving Abbotsford we stopped at Bridal Falls. It's about a 10 minute walk from the car park following the stream. Once at the bottom of the falls the sight is amazing, the water falls so finely over the rocks giving it the look of fine lace and to think how much water has been over the top without wearing the rocks away.
