This morning for the first time this trip we awoke to rain. As this was our last full day in Canada, Lynn, Lyndon,Tracy,Molly and I went to the village for our last coffee at Delany's before Lynn started work. After coffee Lyndon drove us down into the city on his way to work. We were dropped at the Pacific shopping centre. Molly soon found an H&M and was already half way up the escalator before Tracy and I entered the shop. In Robson Street we found a great sweet shop with tubes of M&M's in colours of your choice, so Molly bought some.
A visit to Tim Hortons, Molly discovered Boston Cream doughnuts which will become her favorite.
It was still raining as we made our way down to Canada Place and along to where the torch was burning during the 2010 winter Olympics. There was also a great piece of artwork in the shape of a pixilated Orca.
We walked back to the sea bus and over to Lonsdale market. We had some soup and then Molly had a small ice cream before getting the bus back to Lynn's. We caught the Grouse Mountain bus which meant a longer walk in the rain but not too far.
After dinner we went to watch Lyndon play ice hockey on the Lynn valley road. We were amazed as we entered as they had three separate ice rinks. No wonder Canada are so good! Lynn, Tracy and I sat upstairs in the cafe and watched to game.
On our return Molly was still up, as we said she could, and found she was playing games online with people on the iPad. I didn't even know how to do that. A sign of things to come!
