Today was our last day at the cabin. Our ferry back was booked for 16:20 so it gave us until after lunch before leaving.
First thing, I went for a run and on my return Lynn and Lyndon had taken the kayaks out on the lake. I had some breakfast and then took Molly out on the paddle boat. It was a good workout for the thighs.
We then went out in the speedboat, Molly had an extremely long go in the tube before jumping in the water to swim with Lyndon.
Once back at the cabin we got the boat out of the water, stored the kayaks and generally tidied up. We loaded the roof box and the car then set off for the port. Even though Lyndon had driven to the port many times before, this time he got lost and had to pull in at a Dairy Queen for directions!!! ( Molly went with him to ask and not surprisingly returned with a Reece mini cup ice cream !!!!!)
On the ferry we sat and read our books until the captain announced that we were passing the Disney cruise ship that had just left Vancouver, so we went out on deck to see.
Once back at Lynn's house we made plans for the next 5 days while Molly and Nathan watched the Lemony Snickett movie.
