Today we left the house at 7:15 to catch the ferry to Vancouver island. Today, after coffee at Delany's, Molly and I climbed the Grouse Grind. I had the usual first nights sleep after jet lag, so after only two hours after feeling dog tired was wide awake. I was able to get back to sleep until about 4:30 and I heard Molly moving about around five but she had been reading for a while. After dinner at lynn's house, Lyndon,Nate,Molly and I took Kodi for a walk. We took Lyndon's car up skyline to the lower ground of Grouse mountain. I was hoping to see some wildlife but all we saw was a big black slug! There were some fantastic views of the city. On some of the bushes berries were growing. Very similar to a blackberry bush with berries looking like raspberries but shiny bright red rather than the usual dusky pink colour.
