Our next stop was Byron Bay and I loved the place!!! The first place in Oz that I really loved! The town was very quaint and had a bit of a holiday feel about it, with lots of surfers shops and nice little cafe's around the place. We caught a late night bus to Surfers Paradise, which was another disappointing place! I haven't been overly impressed with the places along the east coast of Australia! We caught another Greyhound bus to Brisbane from Mooloolaba early in the morning and found ourselves a hostel. I've got to say I was a little disappointed by Brisbane. After a trip roughing it in Fraser Island, we booked ourselves into 'Flashpackers' in Noosa, a little town. Judging from the name we were expecting big things and it really didn't disappoint! They'd only been open 2 weeks and they had some really good deals on.
