Left Hamner Springs this morning again in glorious weather. Headed back to return the bikes and then back to Iconic Motor Homes to return the Campervan. After packing everything up, we took an Uber to Christchurch Airport Motel. We are here until very early morning when we go to the airport to take a flight to Sydney. We are at Sydney airport for 6 1/2 hours awaiting our flight back to Heathrow. Fortunately, we are in the business lounge so it shouldn’t be too unpleasant. Overall, it has been an absolutely fantastic experience. No disappointments whatsoever. We have travelled over 2000 miles. We have waited a long time to do this trip and it has been so worthwhile and has fully met our expectations. We have been very lucky to have had so many different experiences in this lovely country. Thanks to my lovely husband for all the effort he put in over many months to create the itinerary. Hopefully this blog will be a reminder in the future and our memories to look back on.
