We left Picton this morning. Went to White's Bay but wasn't too impressed so decided to move on to a site that Karl and Lisa came to 8 years ago. As you can see from the cover photograph, it is wonderful. The beach is called Marfell's. It is a Department of conservation site. Costs 5 pounds each to stay here for the night. Fortunately we were early enough to arrive and get a wonderful spot. As soon as we open our door, the sea is in front of us. It is very quiet and you can hear the waves just lapping. Idyllic. We took a walk for an hour along the beach and never met another soul. Staying here for one night.
