Stayed over in Glenorchy last night. On the morning we went on the electric cars 4 wheel drive around the The Delta Discovery Tour on river bed. We then headed off to the Shotover Jet ride. This was described as a unique breathtaking ride through spectacular and dramatic canyons. I have to admit we both felt this was probably one of the most exhilarating rides we have ever experienced. Not only does it spin to 360° but it goes at high speeds through a narrow canyon narrowly missing huge rocks. Have to admit I did wonder if we would get off this alive. It lasted 25 minutes. Subsequently, upon looking up accidents on this world attraction, we have found a few fatal accidents over the years. Glad that we didn't read this before going on as I don't think I would have gone. We then drove back to Queenstown for the evening and went out to dinner.
