Hopped off the plane in L.A.X my dreams and my cardigan....

It took us about 2 hours to get off the plane and through customs but all in all not too bad! Damien and Amanda picked us up from the airport and we went back to their place in Whittier to shower and settle in. By that stage we had been up for about 35 hours (not much sleeping happened on our bumpy flights over) and decided a few more hours couldn't hurt!! D&A took us for a drive to Santa Monica beach and down to the pier where we are our first Churro (somehow the second thing we purchased was a present for Blake!) we then went for a walk along 3rd street promenade and watched all the street performers. Had dinner in a lovely little farmers market restaurant called Singapore Banana Leaf and then went for an inserting walk around the Tar Pits! Tiredness is creeping over us and think it's about time to hit the hay ... Until tomorrow xxx
