First blog update of the trip!!

We arrived in Houston with no real dramas and got to our Airbnb accommodation... Let's just say if the inside looked like the outside I would've asked the Uber driver to just keep going. We went in and the place was tidy and clean so what else do we need??
We found a 99c store and bought a few supplies, went to dinner at Popeyes and then came back for an early night.

Sunday in Houston... Hmm how to explain it.... It's like trying to go clubbing on a Monday night in NZ... It just doesn't exist... Nothing is open (like not even Starbucks) and people just look at you weird... Wow I thought Perth on Sunday was stuck in the last century!

We managed to find the Holocaust Museum which opened at midday and took a self guided tour, we wandered around central Houston then walked around Minute Maid park. Unfortunately the Astros were playing the Angels in LA that day so we found a Texan pub (Moonshiners) had some early dinner and drinks and watched the baseball game on TV before heading back to our accommodation.
