Today we had a wee sleep in and then went too Madison Square Garden and did a tour. We got to not only see the inside of the garden but also the VIP suites and the locker rooms. Today we went across to Liberty Island to see the Statue of Liberty. She's pretty cool!! And we didn't realise she was a gift from the French! How nice of them haha. We also hopped off and went to Ellis Island and went through the Museum to learn about all the immigrants coming into America. We then went and toured the 9/11 tribute centre. Today was a massive day in NYC!! We caught the subway into town and collected our New York Passes (they get you into over 80 attractions in NYC). And we started the day off by heading up to the top of the Rockerfella centre!! An amazing place to see a 360 degree view of NY. Arrived in New York and thankfully got rid of the car!! Chris did a Stella job driving us to JFK to drop it off but we're very glad we're not driving in NYC!! Today we drove for 12 hours just to see Niagara Falls!!! Not much to blog about today was just lots driving but Niagara Falls was totally worth it!!! It's beautiful, loud, wet and just amazing to stand on the side of the falls and see how fast that water goes!! Driving another few hours tonight so we can get closer to New York!!
