This will be our last post from Florence, we've had a really nice time up here seeing some of the famous sights (that Shaun knows from Assassins Creed!)
Today we have been really tired from the walking over the past few days so we've just been doing a little bit of exploring but mainly cafe hopping!
We stopped for lunch at this little cafe in one of the back streets of Florence and I tried a new pasta dish-gnocchi. Its like little balls of pasta in a tomatoey sauce. Shaun had tried it when he was in Milan a few months ago and has raved about it since so I thought I should try it and I'm glad I did!
We haven't done alot today, just chilled and getting ready to move onto Palermo! We get on the train in Florence at 19:26 and arrive in Palermo at 10:40 tomorrow! We're expecting it to be hot like so we've gpt the factor 30 ready!
