I got up around 11 a little hungover and with a terrible drouth. I went to the supermarket and bought cheese, tomatoes and a big baguette. I then went back to the hostel and prepared my lunch. I ate my baguette on the rooftop but had to flee indoors as there was fork lightning and thunderstorms. I spent the rest of the day watching Australian TV as the weather was so bad. They are obsessed with sport; any sport! I watched beach volleyball, fishing, cycling and celebrity golf during the afternoon on Australia's main channel. Later Mike and a few others came round to my dorm and we chilled out watching the only film on- My Best Friend's Wedding. That is the cheesiest film I have ever seen! I fell asleep watching it but was awoken at 5am by the most incredible loud sound. There was a thunderstorm right above us. It woke everyone up and there was a Swedish girl screaming hysterically apparently she thought the hostel was caving in (not a bad guess given the state of the place).
