Neil's Round the World Trip!
Hi guys, I got up this morning and I decided to go to Cogee Beach but the weather was so bad (heavy rainstorms)so I decided to just chill in the Botanic Gardens. However I did go to the Tropical Centre which was really cool. There was an exhibition about insect-eating plants which was interesting.
I walked around the city centre and went to a few malls (just to window shop obviously) then I visited the Library of New South Wales which was excellent. There was a photographic exhibition of the Australian photographer, David Moore. His pictures were amazing!
I walked around the Spanish Quarter and then checked out the Chinatown area. I walked along Darling Harbour and past one of the biggest clubs in the world; Home.
I bought some food from a food shop and they had of all things; Irn-Bru! I bought that and some olives, cheese and crackers. The Irn-Bru was similar to home but had a huge warning sign saying: danger if spilt may stain! I got back to my hostel and spoke to the Dutch girls in my dorm and then chilled out in the lounge for most of the night.
