Merry Christmas Everyone!!

i have had a fantastic time over the last few days (well months really!!). so this is the jenni christmas tale...
it all began on one very hot and humid christmas eve. ami-my friend from work, picked me and we headed down to a friends house for a few pre christmas drinks. had a big of a natter, had a few beers and then 11pm came and off we trotted to bed (yes, i know unlike me to leave a party so early!!) so i went to bed at a reasonalbe hour to await the legendary santa. as we dont have a chimney, i left the air condidtioning on, so he could drop through witht the pressies...left out some milk, carrotss and mince pies and headed off to bed.

went i woke, bright as a daisy, i have to say i was a little disappointed. santa must have forgotton this house, well i actually think its cos we dont have a fireplace, as there cnt be any other reason, i was well behaved and a good girl all year!!!

haha!!anyways i had a bit of skype with ma, pa, aunty freda, uncle ray and lotski which was nice. i then got my glad rags on and headed over to sweeneys house. and in typical fashion, i arrived to help out and the boys did a mass evacuation to the pub!! so i was helping with the veg etc and had a glass of wine sinigng along to all the christmas tunes. janine (james's friend-tom's brother) came over with her flatmate and the boys came back from the pub...sat down to shrimps on the bbq for entree. main was turkey, ham, potoates, carrots, yorkshire pud(my request!!), sprouts, parnsip, gravey, pigs in blankets, stuffing-the whole job lot. and we were sat out in the sunshine (had to put the brolly up cos it got soo hot!) eating a christmas lunch-fantastic. for dessert, we had traditional pudding, choc cake, cheese and biccys, mince pies...beautiful!

after a nana nap we all headed down to the pub for a few drinks. got very merry and i had to leave about 10.30pm-a little bit worse for wear!!

so boxing day, the daisy was a little less bright and cheerful this morning. got my dress on and my heels and headed over to the randwick races for the day. went with tim, friend, and his friend from home, richard. ed, my flatmate and his friend. so me and 5 boys!! really good day!! only won one race but still didnt matter. sunny all day.after the races me, tim and richard went back into balmain for thai-besti i have eaten ever. and met tom in the pub.had a dance, had a few more beers and home at a bout 1am. really good day...lots of laughs and lots of drink!

yesterday -27th- i woke up around 2pm...i got a shower and sat in front of the tv all day feeling very hungover and sorry for myself! went round to tom's for diiner as they had friends round. was going to be a bbq but a massive storm hit so ended up with steak...beautiful, pots, veg and gravey-its so nice to have a mum cook for me. but i do have to say, not a scratch on your cooking mum-always my favourite!!

had a really good time over the christmas hols. heading out the city for a couple of days with friends from work-should be good and just having a quiet new year with tim, tom and their families-wont be a big night.
