hello all................i am in sydney woohoo!!! i havent stopped laughing since the moment i got here...cos i am with my girlies again!

i set off on tuesday morning after not another great nights kip...the french are so bloody inconsiderate (sorry if offending anybody) but they are!!! anyways, got the bus to syndey and arrived 1pm tuesday afternoon. i had to walk about 20m to hostel and there they were...it was so good to see them.....i feel like my limbs have been attached again!

we ate and slpet and then went out for 'an early one' but we should know by now that our 'early one's' never turn out to be early...and last night was another fanatsic example of that! we went to the hotsel bar for 1 drink dressed in jeans and a tshirt...no make up and hair that henry wouldnt wear! we then got chatting to some guys and then that was that...dancing and drinking and laughin and in alis case...seeking out the bus stops of australia! thats all i will say about that-what happens in australia stays in australia!!! or at least she hopes!

we headed to an irish bar (always the worst kind) and got some guiness...in my case apint of the black stuff came my way as it seems that when i order 1/2 guniess it means that i want a pint....add with that vodka and wine...i was well away!!! so we danced the night away - we havent done so fun such a long time...it was great and they kept playing our thailand tunes...was just brillant!!

so today...there was a walk leaving the hostel at 11am for a tour around the city...we didnt actually make that....not really suprising seeing as we didnt hit the sack til gone 4am...and that was after being escorted to bed by security! so funny....well he ddint think so!

ok...so we didnt make the walk...but we should have considering there was a bloody announcment telling us that it was a beautful day outside and that the walk was leaving in 10mins...i dont actually think i said a non cursing word for the whole flippin announcment...it was like being on kiddy camp!! ok so when we did actually surface we had a walk down to the harbour and to have a look at the opera house..but that took us about 2.5 hrs due to the shops that we kept walking into!!

the harbour and opera house is amazing....it seemed so surreal to be there...just aweome...definalty a highlight so far...we caught the bus back...to avoid more shopping and as we were so tired.

it has been a fab day....love it. we are going to look for a flat to rent for a month or so..cheaper than staying in a hostel and then going to sort out a job too...probs beofre christmas as with my rekindled shopping habit means cash is steadily depleting!!
