After a long night, we gathered our things and joined others for a 3.5 hour adventure. We first arrived to the small island of Agii Theodori where we saw a few Kri Kri or Cretan goats and the face of a petrified sea monster. According to legend, a sea monster began to attack the villagers and as the monster roared and opened its mouth, the women kneeled down and started praying to the mother of God and St. George for help. The miracle happened and the monster petrified. The big monster is called Thodorou and it's baby is following. After cruising around the tiny island we anchored not far from a Ju-52 transport world war II plane lying at the bottom of the ocean. Unfortunately it was the only thing to see in the water, but it was refreshing and fun jumping from the boat into the water. After our 3.5 hour boat tour we gathered ourselves into the car and started the long drive back to the shoebox.
