Another early morning to get to the Daintree in time to catch a crocodile.
About 1 hour north of Port Douglas is Daintree Village
There we booked a trip on Crocodile Express to search for crocs at low tide in the (relative) cool of the morning.
We were lucky to get some good exposure and saw a 25 year old 3.5 meter croc as well as a smaller 1.5 meter one
Our guide was Lex who grew up here on the Daintree
