We all slept in today and I made a fried breakfast for the boys.
David and I went for a walk up Macrossan St looking for birthday presents for someone's special birthday tomorrow.
Successful !!
Then we came home and had lunch and then we drove up to the Daintree River for a final crocodile cruise.
We were very lucky as we arrived at crocodile express at the Daintree River right on 3 o'clock which was the last cruise for the day and we were able to board was no wait.
We first crossed over to the other side of the river to pick up some people from a tour on the Cape tribulation side.
While they were waiting for us they saw a 2 1/2 meter crocodile; our guide later felt that given the size and sex of this crocodile it was probably a crocodile called Biscuit- renamed Leo by the Canadians.
We also saw a 3.5 meter male crocodile and had an interesting cruise around halfway island.
D thought it was a great cruise.
We then went to the Eco lodge in Daintree Village for Devonshire tea and David had his first cup of tea in 2 years !!
Dinner tonight at Salsa :)
My word, this would have to be one of the best most superb meals we have ever had in Port Douglas; nay let alone ever.
All of us have been taken by surprise and we are overwhelmed by the quality of the food, the excellence of the service and the ambience and location of the restaurant. Our waiter, Daniel, was professional, engaging and very friendly.
