John was the best tour guide in-town. He kindly drove me all around Hamilton showing me the sites, suburbs and giving a flavour of the city. The train arrived at Niagara Falls NY around 1945, having reversed into the station for the last five miles of the journey. As one of only four people left on the train, I was greeted by John, Sandra, Mark and Bernice, my Canadian cousins.
