I'm half way through my time living in Nantes. Yes, I returned here after a brief visit in February, this time to work on a project. I packed for cold weather, but I've been lucky, it's been glorious!
Nantes is a fantastic city. It's got beautiful architecture, great shops, oodles of bars, excellent public transport and is very walkable.…
I'm taking a sabbatical and going trans-continental USA by train. I've planned a circuit around the States with a short trip across the border to Canada. I'm staying in hotels, with relatives and on the train. On my return to Europe I'll be making some briefer trips. My wishlist includes Scandinavia, France, Italy and a return trip to the USA to tour California. I plan to reconnect with people and get my mojo back through my adventures. Come join me (virtually) and follow my journey…

Hi Chris, yes, the joy of digital can make you snap happy! It's windy this morning (7.30am) so not sure how the day will turn out. Still enjoying myself, plus it's warm enough to leave the jacket off.

Hi Nigel & Gill, glad to hear from you. I'm in chilly downtown Dallas. About to go in search of a Starbucks. Heading to Plano this afternoon to visit with friends overnight. They've been iced in, so I'm hoping for some thaw today. It sounds like it's positively balmy in Corfe (compared to here)! Love Mo
