Had a mini lie in and checked out of the hostel just before 10. Got breakfast with Jenny at the hostel, fry up! Hostel shows the Sound of Music film at 10 30am daily so watched that til the bus came. Was sitting with some people who had never seen it. even big butch Nathan was yodelling with the goatherds! Boarded the bus about 12 30 for a really quick trip to Munich. Wombats hostel here same as Vienna, good rooms and communal areas. Has a wierd outdoor/indoor area, has a glass roof but trees and plants in. Bed comfy, unlike Salzburg. Had a faffment and then went out for a wander. Want to do a tour tomoro and they recommend booking the day before. Was good to have a little explore even in a thunderstorm (rain jacket already being used mum!) found the office via a few shops and booked the tour. Came back to the hostel and met up with the others (Nathan, Carly, Teresa and Rob) to go on the pub crawl. Was a lot of fun despite the rain. even drank beer. Went to some traditional beer gardens. one was 5 metres underground in the cellar. moved on from beer to a few spritzers, in a half litre glass however! Finally got to bed about 1 30.
