Early start considering the late night but had booked tour. Got to Mike's Bike Office about 8 30 for the bus to Neuschwanstein Castle. It was the inspiration for the Disney castle. Had a two hour bus ride that I slept for most of. Arrived and met Brad our guide for the day. All got sorted on the bikes and headed off into the countryside. Had a mini lie in and checked out of the hostel just before 10. Got breakfast with Jenny at the hostel, fry up! Hostel shows the Sound of Music film at 10 30am daily so watched that til the bus came. Was sitting with some people who had never seen it. even big butch Nathan was yodelling with the goatherds! Boarded the bus about 12 30 for a really quick trip to Munich. Very uneventful and lazy day. Had lie in and went into the Aldstadt again. Took wander around and bought lunch. Took long walk out to botanical gardens, beautiful palace in the middle, and ate lunch there. Read my book lazing on the grass for 3 hours. Good way to spend the afternoon. Walked back to the town and caught the tram back to the hostel. Chatted to room mates, packed, got dinner and used internet. Had early night.

Got on coach at 8, only short journey today. Got to Dresden about 11. Checked into the Die Boofe hostel. Really weird and scary lady on reception so was worried about the room. No need, room great, comfy bed, en suite and kitchen facilities in the room. even a fridge! 4 of us in the room, an aussie couple and Aleesha, another aussie.
