Got on coach at 8, only short journey today. Got to Dresden about 11. Checked into the Die Boofe hostel. Really weird and scary lady on reception so was worried about the room. No need, room great, comfy bed, en suite and kitchen facilities in the room. even a fridge! 4 of us in the room, an aussie couple and Aleesha, another aussie. Got the tram into the town centre with Aleesha and got some lunch. took stroll around the Aldstadt (old town) and admired the buildings. Was sleepy so went back to hostel via supermarket and post office. Ended up sleeping all afternoon. Got up about 7 and chatted to room mates on balcony for a while. Bought pizza from local kebab place and ate it with Aleesha in hostel garden. Went to use internet but not allowed to use USB for photos on public computer. Hostel owner very trusting and let me in the office, money and all sorts of documents around! Came back up, read and went to sleep.
