We said goodbye to Maria and her daughter Salume this morning. Maria was such a lovely host! She gave us food and was so helpful, nothing was too much for her. We had to make our way to the train station - store our luggage and find where the specific line was that we needed. That took a little while figuring out. After that we had about 2.5 hrs to walk around. Instead of doing a museum, we decided to spend the time browsing souvenir shops. We had lunch then headed back. We took the train then the short bus trip to the airport which took 1 hr in total. Doing this option allowed us to use the 3 day transport card that we purchased. When we checked in, we found out our flight was delayed an hour. We had a coffee and looked at the duty free shops. We had a good flight, nice to get free booze on board! Heathrow finally disappointed us with their long immigration cue - it took over an hour, just as bad as Stanstead airport. Not to worry, Jas had food and wine waiting for us when we reached the accommodation after being on the tube for almost an hour. Today was an example of how long it takes to get from A to B....10 hours from getting to Stockholm Central Train Station to Heathrow-Kings Cross-Islington. Traveling is exhausting! Shouldn't complain too much, well at all really!!!
