We said goodbye to Maria and her daughter Salume this morning. Maria was such a lovely host! She gave us food and was so helpful, nothing was too much for her. We had to make our way to the train station - store our luggage and find where the specific line was that we needed. That took a little while figuring out. A relaxed morning was had and much needed today. We were shown where the money exchange place was at the nearest metro station by our host, Mary. We then headed into town and visited the tourist centre to ask questions and from there we were able to plan our next 3 days. A day of travel! Left Athens and it's stinking heat behind, and made our way to the airport. Was a close call actually making our flight due to the disorganization of the system when trying to check in. We made it and were able to meet Keith and Glenys in London once we got the terminal right.
