Today was the day that we picked up our hire car at Madrid airport and travelled to the Andalucia region of Antequerra which is where we will be staying for the next week. The place has a lovely terrace overlooking Antequerra, owned by a lovely English and Peruvian couple who have been here for 11 years. They left us with lovely wine and food, the wine cost 2.50 euros and went down far too well. The travel was great, awesome roads and great signage. Nice being able to legally drive 120km, up to 140km+ on some occasions! We will explore the surrounding towns over the next week, might consider the 4 hour drive to Portugal. We'll enjoy some down time too, reading and drinking beer on the terrace. Only just gone dark at 10pm!
