We started the day by going to the Modernisme Museum which we really enjoyed, followed by the Egyptian Museum. What a day! We started with another walking tour through the Gothic Quarter which was great to understand the differences in the architecture of the city. After that we needed a coffee (a beer for a certain someone) and churros with chocolate, we felt we deserved it! The Picasso Museum was really amazing, picked up a copy of one of his artworks. Today we headed off for more sightseeing. We went into the Barcelona Cathedral which was lovely on the inside but stunning on the outside! And then visited the Museum of Frederic Mares which we both really enjoyed! We had an awesome meal of a beer, bread, entrée, main and dessert for 10 euros. After another full morning of travel, we made it to our accommodation after figuring out their metro system! We had some tapas for lunch however it was more Serbian-style but still yummy! We got a 4 day Barcelona pass and went to Barcelona's two contemporary art museums (CCCB & MACBA), both well...let's just say I wouldn't be rushing back but still an experience. The weather is lovely with blue skies, and light until 9pm! So another big day tomorrow of sight...
