Not much to report today. The women are winning in the Battle of the Sexes, but I’m finding it tedious. The first thing the organisers said today is ‘this is supposed to be fun’ and then promptly sucked all the fun out of it by insisting on full names if required. Who knows Kalashnikov’s full name?
I went to a lecture on ‘The Golden Age of Ocean Liners’ with Rob, straight after the Battle.
In the evening we saw the Runaround Kids in Carmens. They were very good. They sang songs from the 50’s and 60’s. None of their parents would have been around then!
We had our worse ever Syndicate Quiz. Seven out of twenty!!!
