Barbara was feeling better so we took the shuttle to Copacabana Beach. We wandered along past the hotels, passing the hotel Angie and I stayed in few years back and the Copacabana Palace to a Churrascuria. There we ate our fill of meat. I finished with a cat’s egg! This was a scoop of vanilla ice cream sprinkled with Ovaltine and chocolate sauce. The whole thing was on chocolate fingers. I was expecting Cadbury’s biscuit type fingers, but they were finger shaped chocolates complete with fingernails! This was served with warm chocolate sauce. Very nice.

Then a shuttle back to the ship after walking on the beach. It was extremely hot. As we were full from lunch we didn’t want dinner. I just wanted a bowl of soup. However, they held a barbecue by the Crystal Pool so the buffet was closed and no soup available. I ended up with some cheese and biscuits and fruit.

Barbara was knackered and went to bed, I joined the others for the tropical party by the Riviera Pool. Which was fun until the ents team decided to play ‘fun’ games. Finished the day with 12/20 on Syndicate Quiz, the winners scored 16.

On a light note to finish, I asked some of the bar tenders at the Riviera Bar if they’d managed to go ashore. They had, last night. They went to a strip club, but it wasn’t very good because the girls turned out to be boys!
