Well we made it through what was probably the worst test ever. Studied most of last night with a break to go out to grab food with some people. This morning we were up at 5:45 to head to the University to continue to try and last minute cram. The final was brutal as expected but it is done and over which means we are officially in Greece!!

Eleven of us from our original group of 22 are headed to Greece for what we call our "spring break" within our summer semester :) Michelle, Lindsey, Baylee, Kailee, Jordan, Nick, Kyle, Scott, Nyland, Zach and myself all headed to the bus stop and took the 9am bus from Antwerp to Brussels to catch our flight this morning. We split up to eat lunch once we checked bags and made it through security. Our flight left a little late which was concerning due to the fact we only had a 45 min layover in Munich, Germany even if our flight had left on time. With a late departure it left us with no time at all. Our flight was due to board at 2:20 from Munich to Athens. We were still in the air on our first flight at 2:15….We had to get off on the tarmac and get on a bus of course that dropped us off on the opposite end of where we needed to be.

Nothing like seeing 11 Americans sprinting full speed through the airport trying to make a flight. It was pretty entertaining once we all stepped on the plane and on our way. We all managed to make it and we arrived in Athens today around 6:30pm Greece time. We found the bus to take us about forty minutes from Athens to our hotel. Our hotel sits right on the Mediterranean. It is very nice and close to a lot of cool stuff. We made it just on time to check in, grab a drink and head straight to the beach for the sunset. We spent the rest of the night on the beach and built a bonfire right next to the ocean when it got dark. Its beautiful here and the weather is supposed to stay 80 and sunny all weekend. Tomorrow we are heading into Athens to go see the ancient city and all the touristy things that come with coming to Greece. The rest of the weekend we are excited just to hang out on the beach and by the pool and do nothing but relax with no schedules. It is 12:30am here in Greece (we are now 8 hours ahead of central time instead of 7) and we just got in from the beach and are headed to bed to wake up really early to get a full day out of Athens.
