Checked out of our hotel at 12:00 lunch today, we make sure we check out at the very last minute so we get our money's worth outta the room! Today is our last day in Hanoi and we leave for Hue tonight, so we won't see our friends again for a while, if we do end up coming back! We went to have coffee at Lee's social club with Toni to say our final goodbye :( it was quite sad, we've spent a lot if time with both of them and they're lovely, kind, generous and fun!
Ended up having yet another croissant for breakfast, I think il turn into pastry soon! And we stayed there all day until gone 4pm! Talking to Sean about what to do with our lives! Sean, from Bristol has lived here, teaching English for three years. So Annie was chewing his ear off about what she could do! I hope she does decide to come back to Vietnam too because it's what I really want to do!
I could live this life of relaxing in the sun terrace socialising with friends, overlooking this vibrant city all day long!
If i come back though il also need something to keep me busy! Realistically, we would have a months trial working and take it from their, that would probably be ebough for me though! Id like to do an airbrush make up art course, I know you can do it in Thailand but not in Vietnam so I spent the day looking into it on the Internet!
I don't wanna do something for the sake of it, and after this afternoons research, that's exactly what I'm doing!
But I love it here so much I don't want to leave yet! :(( I guess time will tell!
At 4:00 we left and went for bagel at Joma! We're addicted! And we also got a sandwich for tonight's night bus! We're learning ;) this is the first time we've not had Asian food all day long!
Perhaps could noodles have been replaced with croissants and bagels?!?!?
We rushed our order so we could hurry up and get to the Hotel for our 5:00pm pickup! The Bus wasnt until 6:30! How annoying! So we started writing blogs, we've been so busy having so much fun we've both got over two weeks behind! Sorry blog fans!
We went to the pharmacies to get annie some lozengers for her throat too as she could hardly speak! Might switch her lozengers for worthers originals if she gets her voice back too quick though ;) joking she is really poorly bless her and I am here for her!
The minivan dropped us at side of road! Again! We're we had to wait half an hour in the tropical thunderstorm, soaking wet, to get on the bus! Don't they know who we are? Leaving us standing in the rain, we're not exactly treated like royalty!
We got on the bus and it set off after about 20/30 minutes! This is all quite speedy for Asia! Couldn't sleep at all on the bus as I had lots on my mind about what to actually do with my life next! Also we got a random guy sleeping next to us on the back of the coach, snoring his head off! Oh how we like to travel in style!
